	Context
	 In the fall of 2023, I returned to India for the one day international Cricket World Cup, not just to capture matches, but to document how cricket lives across the country. On streets, living rooms, at local cricket ground where the sport isn’t just played—it’s felt.
	
	
	What It Is
	 A limited publication with Blurring Books, created during my journey through India during the World Cup. The pages are treated to look worn and weathered, as if they’ve been passed among fans, held close, and shared over time—a coming-of-age story for cricket in India.

	The Deeper Layer
	This was a cultural time capsule—equal parts nostalgia and movement. Printed with intention. Designed to feel like memory.
 
	What I Wanted to Capture
	The everyday relationship between people and cricket, not just the spectacle, but the casual, lived-in moments that define what the sport means in India.

	BEHIND THE CURTAIN, the one day only interactive photo installation featured photographers from all over the globe. The show attracted over 750 attendees throughout the night. It was one of the most popular and well attended events in the history of the ICA SF. The show evolved over the evening through a constant rotation of photographs becoming only a memory for those who were there to witness it. Every 15 minutes a photo was dramatically torn from the walls with another photo appearing underneath. A full museum gallery with hundreds of pieces hanging on the walls at 5pm became empty by 9pm. Fortunate attendees who arrived on time were surprised to be able to take a piece from the show home for free, all 1 of 1 postered photo prints.

	Photographed over a span of two weeks, "Keep Calm and Carry On" is a tabloid newspaper. My focus was on capturing the spirit of the fans at matches, including scenes both inside and around iconic stadiums such as Lords, Old Trafford and Edgbaston.

	This series began with an observation of the stark contrast between the wealth gap of Redwood City, CA and Atherton, CA sharply evident along Middlefield Road. Initially sparked by this divide, my focus shifted to a deeper exploration of the community that brings life to Redwood City’s segment of Middlefield Road. Through my lens, witness familiar faces and everyday moments set against this backdrop in Redwood City, CA.

Since starting this documentation, I have seen the streets gradually transform with new construction and repaved sidewalks and roads. Yet, not all families who once contributed to the neighborhood's vibrancy have remained. Despite these changes, my aim has been to preserve the authenticity of this neighborhood, capturing it in a way that reflects its true character and culture.&#38;nbsp;

	Street Politics is a short experimental film that evolved organically. Many of life’s interesting moments that were relayed to me either as a conversation (recorded on audio) or witnessed as a street incident, could best be emoted via motion film. So began my journey from recording audio clips to video, This is the universality of micro cosmos of street politics around the world.
